About the Artist

Karolina is a self-taught artist who started painting horses and unicorns just like every other young girl.  She graduated from Columbia College in Chicago with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture.  She worked in the field of architecture for several years, while unleashing her creativity and growing her need to paint more and more in every spare moment she had.  With age, her creative passion turned to the nude figure, the Galapagos Islands, and seascapes.

Since her early twenties, she has had a constant companion which emerges when she sits down to paint.  If she doesn't give a painting a direction, it hops in and wants to be painted in the form of a female body… Most of the time playful and shy, but at times serious and dramatic.  Her companion ranges in style from realism, impressionism, to abstract.

Karolina is a professional artist full-time, residing in Chandler, Arizona.
